Honest answers before you book
These are the questions our guests ask us most. We're Wilson and Elsy, and we'd rather you know exactly what to expect before you arrive.

What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel 60 to 46 days before arrival, you get a 50% refund of the deposit. If you cancel 45 to 1 day(s) before arrival, there is no refund.
Extra fees and peak season charges may apply. If you're unsure how this works for your dates, ask us before you book.
What should I bring on the tour?
Please bring:
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Sunscreen
- Insect repellent
- A hat
- A water bottle
- A camera

Do you provide transportation?
Yes. We offer pickup and drop-off from most hotels in the La Fortuna area, and transportation is included in all tour packages.
We can also arrange airport transfers, private transportation and lodging. Learn more on our Transport & Lodging page.
Are the tours suitable for children?
Most of our tours are family-friendly and suitable for children 5 years and older. For families with younger children, we can arrange private tours.
Tell us who's coming and we'll suggest what fits, or we can build a custom tour around your family.
What languages do your guides speak?
Our guides are fluent in English and Spanish. Tours in French and German can be arranged with advance notice, so let us know early if you'd like one.
How far in advance should I book?
Please book at least 48 hours in advance, especially in peak season (December to April). Last-minute bookings are possible based on availability, so it's always worth asking.
